Additional Tips for Working Within the Court Rules
The Court Rules require Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded from Adobe's website.
When the rule is first opened, the bookmarks (in the navigation pane on the left side of the screen) provide a table of contents representing sections and individual rules. Click on a specific bookmark to jump to its location within the document. Bookmarks can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the minus sign (-) or plus sign (+) next to it. At your discretion, you can hide the Bookmarks tab.
In an open PDF document, you can use one of two tools to locate a specific word or phrase. One way is to choose Edit, Find ([Ctrl] + F) to turn on the Find toolbar. The other way is to click the Search button on the File toolbar to display the Search PDF window, which offers advanced options.
From an open PDF document, text can be selected for copying and pasting by using the Select button on the Basic toolbar. Note that only text will be copied, and formatting may be lost.
